About the Series
Peace begins on the inside. Through mindfulness practices with the herd, we will explore peace within, peace in relationship, and peace with all, and learn tools for building deep, authentic relationships with the horses, with ourselves, and with each other.
We will be interacting with the horses and other animals on the farm.
How the Series Unfolds
Each session builds on the one before. Not sure yet? You’re welcome to try Session 1 before committing to the full series.
Session 1: Presence and Beauty (Sunday, November 1)
Through mindfulness exercises with the herd, we find presence. We sink into ourselves, reawaken a sense of wonder and curiosity, and reconnect with and deeply receive the beauty all around us.
Session 2: Centeredness as Foundation for Relationship (Saturday, November 14)
From this foundation of peaceful centeredness, we further expand our relationships with the animals, gaining tools to build deep, authentic connection with the horses, ourselves, and each other.
Session 3: Receiving and Revealing (Saturday, December 12)
We learn new skills and deepen our relationships with the horses. We open to receive the horses’ communication and reveal our own gifts.
Why It Matters
Being with the horses and animals in this way helps us regulate our nervous systems. In daily life, most of us jump from one thing to the next, with never-ending distractions interrupting our flow. Through exercises with the animals, moving our awareness further out and closer in, we practice slowing down and being present. It sounds simple, but it is deeply healing.
This process helps us become more skillful observers, sensing more keenly what is needed and what is available to receive in the moment. It’s a heart-opening practice, and that is where connection grows.
Who It’s For
Open to people of all experience levels who are drawn to horses. There’s no pressure to perform or perfect a skill. Since this class focuses on the tools for creating a deep, foundational connection, we will not be riding.
Cost
Full series (3 sessions): $225
Individual class: $80
Space is limited.
Can’t make November 1?
Because the sessions build on each other, the first class is important. If there’s enough interest, we’ll offer a second date for it. Contact us to let us know you’d like to join.
