Deepening Our Relationship with Horses and Ourselves
Besides the fun and joy of being with the horses, this program gives us more tools for how to build deep, authentic relationships with them.
Its also good for us: Being with the horses in this way helps us regulate our nervous systems. We practice being present and slowing down.
This process helps us to become more skillful observers, sensing more keenly what is needed in the moment. Its a heart opening practice and there the connection grows.
Open to people of all levels of experience who are attracted to horses, no pressure to perform or perfect a skill. This class is about learning the tools to create deep foundational connection and we will not be riding.
This is a 3 session class; December 6, 13 and 20. Regular cost is $240 per person. Repeat price is $150. Space is limited. Please contact Karin at 808.224.7296 if you have questions or would like to discuss further.

Rescued Hearts Film Screening and Introduction to Hoku Lio Farms
We are so excited to bring part 1 of this beautiful film to Oahu! Ever since I saw the premier at the Illuminate Film Festival in Santa Barbara, I’ve wanted to share this film!
Rescued Hearts explores the profound and often miraculous connection between humans and horses. Through deeply moving personal stories, expert insights and research, Rescued Hearts explores how horses serve as catalysts for healing and transformation, helping us open our hearts and reconnect with our authentic selves. And its not just the story of horses - its the story of all of us, offering an invitation for deeper connection, with ourselves, with each other and all of nature.
That’s what we do here at Hoku Lio Farms, right here in Waimanalo.
Please join us this Wednesday from 6-9pm at Kahala Mall for this beautiful film screening, and hear about how we bring this work right here to our community. Ticket link below
